Hello loves, welcome to a new week. I had plans to post something for the weekend, but i could not meet up because i had to be at work and i was also booked for a wedding to tie Gele for the bride and family. "Gele" is a head tie commonly used among african women for occasions to complete their traditional look. I learned how to tie Gele and makeup during  my visit to nigeria last year. I strongly believe it is very rewarding to master a handwork skill. I can go on to list why it is important to acquire a skill, but i am going to mention a few ; 

1) It brings in extra money to your pocket

2) it looks good on your resume

3) it projects that you are productive

4) room for networking and connection

5) you have a better idea of what you wanna do in your life.
