THE LOVE STORY CONTINUES

We kept our relationship away from friends. No one in school could have absolutely guessed right that oluwole and I were dating. We just never always talked in the classroom except for closing hours when we sometimes take the same bus home, but he was always chatting with his friends in the bus, and so did I.

One day at school, I met with oluwole and a classmate to tell them about my older brother's drama group. I invited them to come for the auditioning which they agreed to.  Let's fast track to when oluwole got accepted into the drama group and he started attending rehearsals which was in our house. Dude was so faithful and committed, every time he came, it was an avenue to see him and talk. Let me quickly add that he always came for rehearsals at least an hour early and he was always the last to leave. lol Truly, I think this was what bonded our love💗
Time came for us to write JAMB (an exam you needed to pass in order to gain admission into university). We both wrote the exam but I didn't meet the cut off point, so I was home for a year. On the other hand, Oluwole passed the exam and he started pedigree at EKSU (Ekiti State University), that was the first phase of our long distance relationship! He visited each time he had a break at school.
The following school year, I gained admission at a different school. Oluwole and I didn't get to see that often because we had break in school at different times. Two years after, I couldn't continue my education because my parents couldn't afford my tuition at that time, so I was home again.

Do you know the thought of God towards you are of good and peace? Before the year ended, my family got visa to travel abroad. Our heart was full of joy! On feb 4 , I was scheduled to travel abroad with my mum & brothers. Oluwole had slept in our house 2 days before because I informed him about it. We made promise not to leave each other no matter what. Honestly, I  didn't know how that was going to happen. Took me some weeks to settle down in the states and then finally called him to say Hello from the other side 😢The distance God was preparing us for earlier now finally set in. We stayed in touch via Facebook, but something happened on Facebook! 😶 I met a crush, sorry a crush found me. 😑
Fast forward to when Oluwole and I stopped talking and paused the relationship (seriously, I broke his heart). It was big lesson for me, but God's plan can't be destroyed. I cried onto the holyspirit for help and he took me through some stages until I got that peace which passeth human understanding. Oluwole and I reconnected and since then we have been like the breaking forth of waters.

Since 2015, I had traveled to nigeria once a year to spend time with him and did some personal stuff as well (Abivah Charity Foundation). In 2018, we experience a big disappointment. Oluwole was denied his visa to USA. His purpose of visiting was to attend my graduation ceremony.
Did I tell you God is ever faithful? The following year, we had a testimony over our previous disappointment. Even this testimony birthed our Marriage last year. I can boldly say that when God is in your boat, you can never sink.

This is a snapshot of our love story. Of course, other things happened that are not included in this story. I am glad to finally type this up. lol Sorry for keeping you waiting since. Love you too
